Aleksandra Ferrari was orphaned at age fourteen. Shortly thereafter, her uncle sent his wife and children off for an evening and waited for his niece to walk home from work.Aleksandra knew about the term 'death ground', and she fought back, survived the ordeal, only to be presented with a new one - she wasn't sixteen, her trust fund was largely spent, and now her aunt and uncle were both in jail. She worked to become emancipated, continued to walk to school and on weekends she modeled, finding some photographers thought modeling beach clothing meant a little sand, no clothing..One day, still fifteen, she was invited to audition for a role in a Disney film.
