Huxley scholarship confronts a curated archive of unpublished letters, early stories, pacifist texts, and critical apparatus.

Volume 23/24 opens with a new selection of unpublished Huxley letters, edited by James Sexton. This section is followed by a number of unknown or little-known original Huxley writings, viz. his early short story Boggarts (1912), selected pacifist texts 1935û36, the urtext of Ends and Means (1937), the Huxley article A Tour through Time (1951), rediscovered and edited by Gerhard Wagner, and Huxley's published article Has Man's Conquest of Space Increased or Diminished His Stature? (1963), newly edited from two extant typescripts. The volume closes with critical articles on Point Counter Point, Huxley and Bloomsbury, Ape and Essence, religion and spirituality in Huxley's short stories and on Huxley s relationship with his nephew Francis.
