As the evening progresses, tensions rise and secrets are revealed, leading to a dramatic conclusion. The second play, The House of the Heart, is a romantic comedy set in a boarding house in New York City. The story follows the lives of several young people who live in the boarding house and their romantic entanglements. The play explores themes of love, friendship, and the search for happiness. The third play, The Little Man, is a satirical comedy set in a small town in the Midwest. The story centers around a man named Mr. Gubbins, who is obsessed with his own importance and constantly seeks recognition from his fellow townspeople. The play pokes fun at small-town politics and the desire for social status.Overall, Alaric Jourdan's House And Other Plays offers a diverse collection of plays that explore a range of themes and genres.
