This book was not written to explain myself.
It was written to tell the truth as I lived it.
Some moments in these pages are raw. Some are uncomfortable. Some are unfinished. That is intentional. Healing is not linear, and survival does not come with a clean narrative arc. I did not want to polish my life into something inspirational at the expense of honesty.
What you are reading is a woman in motion-learning, choosing, recalibrating. Some names, timelines, and details have been adjusted to protect privacy, but the emotional truth remains intact. Every chapter reflects a moment I had to walk through, not around.
This is not a book about bitterness.
It is not a book about revenge.
And it is not a book about being over it.
It is a book about living after everything changes.
I still manage depression. I still navigate health challenges. I still carry a past that mattered, even though it no longer defines me. Writing this was not about reopening wounds-it was about letting them breathe so they could finally close on their own terms.
If you are reading this while standing in the middle of your own unfinished chapter, I hope you recognize yourself somewhere here-not as broken, but as becoming. You do not need certainty to move forward. You do not need permission to choose yourself. You do not need to rush your healing to make others comfortable.
This story continues.
