Spend a joyful day on the farm with Lena, her Grandpa, and her best friend Fin!
In this warm and engaging children's picture book, young readers join Lena and her loyal Boston Terrier, Fin, as they explore Grandpa's farm and count animals from one to ten. Together, Lena and Fin turn each moment into a playful adventure, making learning fun.
As they meet each farm animal from un caballo trotting past to diez gallinas pecking by the coop, children practice early counting skills while being gently introduced to Spanish vocabulary. The book is written in approximately 90% English and 10% Spanish, with Spanish words woven naturally into the story rather than taught separately, offering a comfortable and organic first exposure to a second language that reflects today's bilingual generation.
With Grandpa guiding the way and Fin always close by, this story celebrates curiosity, friendship, and family. The cozy farm setting, simple repetition, and rhythmic language make it perfect for read-alouds, bedtime routines, and shared moments between children and caregivers.
