Ben Nelson was the happiest he had ever been in his life. He married the woman of his dreams, had a beautiful daughter, and was at the peak of his career as a writer with a successful run of a series of books titled The Adventures of Darcy Malone where Darcy Malone was a world renown private detective.
Now, fifteen years later and having faced a series of tragedies, Ben finds himself with his career behind him, widowed, and living alone.
