Addenda to the Aedes Hartwellianae is a book written by William Henry Smyth and published in 1864. The book is an addendum to the original work, Aedes Hartwellianae, which was published in 1850. Aedes Hartwellianae is a catalogue of the Hartwell Observatory's collection of astronomical instruments, and Addenda to the Aedes Hartwellianae provides additional information and updates to the original catalogue. The book includes descriptions of new instruments, updates on existing instruments, and corrections to errors in the original catalogue. The book is a valuable resource for astronomers and historians of science who are interested in the history of astronomical instrumentation. William Henry Smyth was an astronomer and naval officer who served as the first Astronomer Royal for Scotland. He was known for his work on the measurement of the Earth's magnetic field and his observations of the moon. This Book Is In English. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
