This isn't a guide, nor am I trying to sell you anything. This is my journey and my experiences and how I'm planning for the future.
This book is a personal account of learning how to save, invest, and think differently about money-without pretending to have all the answers.Starting from childhood savings accounts and early habits, it follows the journey of a lifelong saver who slowly steps into investing with hesitation, fear, curiosity, and plenty of trial and error. From watching 100 fluctuate for the first time, to building ETF portfolios, experimenting with dividends, and learning to sit through market drops, this book documents what it actually feels like to begin.
There's no promise of quick wealth or perfect strategies. Instead, it offers transparency: real numbers, real doubts, changing goals, and an evolving mindset. It explores long-term investing, FIRE concepts, compounding, risk, flexibility, and the balance between enjoying life now and planning for the future-all through the lens of someone who is still learning.
This book isn't financial advice. It's a reflection for anyone who feels late, unsure, or intimidated by investing, and wants to see what a real beginner's journey looks like. If you've ever thought I'll start when I understand it better, this book is proof that understanding often comes after you begin.
