The Acts and Monuments of the Church, also known as Foxe's Book of Martyrs, is a two-volume historical account of the persecution and suffering of Christians throughout history. Written by John Foxe, a 16th-century English historian and Protestant, the book details the lives and deaths of notable figures such as William Tyndale, John Wycliffe, and Thomas Cranmer, as well as lesser-known martyrs.
