On May 29, 1936, Abune Petros was executed in Addis Ababa before a gathered crowd. His death did not silence the people of Ethiopia; instead, it ignited a lasting legacy of moral resistance. His courage strengthened resistance across the country.
This historical novel tells the story of the bishop's final days, highlighting his moral courage that still inspires those who stand against injustice today. It follows his faith, his moral struggle, and the quiet strength of ordinary Ethiopians who lived through invasion and war.
