About Time - Flame of Faith

The Yom-Tovs, a typical Israeli family, are in the middle of unpacking their new home when they discover something unexpected: a sheep. Not just any sheep-a talkative one, who seems to leap through time whenever he falls asleep. Which would be strange enough except that three of their kids suddenly find themselves stranded in the days of the Second Temple, under the rule of the tyrannical Greek Empire-and on the run from its patrols. Armed with deep faith, sharp wit, a cellphone, a frying pan, and each other, they are swept into the fight for Jewish freedom in the promised land while back home, the rest of the family scrambles to figure out how to rescue them across a 2,000-year time gap. A thrilling, full-length comic book adventure of faith, miracles, and Jewish identity-bursting with humour, heart, and food for thought about our past, present, and future. The first book in the About Time series, a best-selling ten-volume hit in Israel, now translated from the original Hebrew by the author. Netanel Epstein is an Israeli-British cartoonist who, together with his wife Bat-El, has created over 30 full-length comic books.
