In Abigail's Tea Room, I found more than a business, I found a calling. What began as a simple idea grew into a gathering place where food was prepared with care, conversations lingered, and community was strengthened one table at a time.
Along this journey, I was never alone. My husband, Pastor David Powell, walked beside me with unwavering support, faith, and partnership, both in ministry and in life. Together, we learned the beauty of service, perseverance, and doing God's work with excellence and humility.
In these pages, I share the story behind the tea room, the people who filled its seats, and the moments, both quiet and joyful, that shaped its legacy. This memoir reflects a life rooted in faith, strengthened by love, and devoted to serving others with grace.
My hope is that this story reminds you of the power of hospitality, the strength found in partnership, and the legacy created when purpose and faith meet.
