As you travel - through space or time - you need A Short Collection of Short Stories to take with you. A dozen entertaining stories, some shorter than others. Just right for those waiting times in life's travels. Waiting, a feature of two of the stories. Fairbanks is a creative writer, whose prose is nuanced, reflective, provocative, and emotive. In this collection stories stretch across time from ancient to biblical to current day to apocalyptic future. From underground opal mine to outback desert to modern city streets to the ethereal. Endearing characters abound, and the eccentric. Allameda, a gypsy woman in the Afterlife, with volumes of red hair and big tits; the opal mining sisters Olga and Vesna; urban street-bro Wozza; Crocodile Sal; Woolies checkout chick Amy, with a tin of dog food; the Sausage-Maker at the End of the World; Queen Theres; Yintl, Ashe's guardian angel; An Old Digger. And more! Whether in hard travel-lounge plastic chair, cushioned but crowded travel seat, or home-comfy armchair, you will be transported to other worlds and provocative entertainment in this short read. Best read one story at a time. A dozen 'globules of reading glory'. Enjoy!
