While photographing magnificent Great Blue Herons nest-building at the Venice Rookery in Florida, we observed an amusing story unfold before our eyes. The emotional scenario that ensued certainly seemed to reflect one that might have taken place at a human household where a wife had sent hubby to the store for a few mundane nails and he excitedly returned with a whole new addition for the house!
