What is an usher? He is the can do, will do, go-to guy for his pastor during the services at his church. He sets aside his personal desires to serve his pastor, the congregation, and the guests in attendance. He is the smile and extended hand of welcome as you enter the doors to his church. This booklet was born of the need to train new ushers by a veteran usher. After much searching for the necessary tools that came up severely lacking, he decided to pour his extensive knowledge and experience into this helpful guide. With twenty years of ushering knowledge, the author is a trustworthy source of information, but that's not his only qualifying factor. The author also spent twenty-five years in industrial construction as a Millwright and some time as an ironworker. The importance of hard work, a job well done, and attention to detail that are necessary for those jobs shine through in this written work.
