Every small town in the USA has stories to tell about their citizens and the rural life tucked away in its history. Many of those stories go untold and are lost forever. This is a story that takes place in the small town in Iowa, of a farmer and his unique friendship with a motherless calf who grows into a large Hereford bull. Many times when twins are born, the mother cow will forget about and reject the first calf born and accept the second calf as her one and only calf. This story is about a rejected twin calf and his adopted mother. This book contains real life farm pictures and farm animal pictures. This is a great story to share with young folks everywhere.
