AJ and his raccoon sidekick Pip meet a very stressed squirrel who's busy preparing for winter--but the math is overwhelming! To help him get ready, AJ and Pip use multiplication and division to organize supplies and make sure everything is stocked up in time.
Set in the friendly world of Mathwood Forest, this fictional story blends detailed illustrations with simple activities to introduce young readers to essential multiplication and division concepts. Relatable animal characters and everyday challenges help children see how math can be useful, practical, and fun.
Perfect for early learners, this book makes bigger math ideas approachable through storytelling, problem-solving, and humor. AJ's love of teaching and Pip's snack motivation keep kids engaged as they build confidence with math.
