All of us have heard of the conspiracy to have Lady Diana Spencer and Dodi Fayed killed, but before now, none of us have heard of the conspiracy to keep them alive. According to the counter-myth I have woven, multimillionaire Mohammad al Fayed financed an elaborate plan to switch Lady Di and Dodi with a pair of terminally ill cancer patients. Naturally, cutting-edge plastic surgery was applied to perfect the illusion. The beneficiaries of the impostors were handsomely rewarded for their sacrifices. . What if the deaths of these two icons were not accidents at all, but the carefully planned schemes of two vulnerable people who grew hot in the glare of the public eye? Supposing, moreover, that Di and Dodi went on to have a secret wedding in Cairo? A Life To Die For dramatizes this reality in heightened detail Not only does this book offer action, adventure, intrigue, and exotic locales, but its mythology is a hopeful one, for it resurrects two beloved international figures. A Life To Die For has the potential of being the next Bridges of Madison County, concise with a great screenplay in the making.
