Mégane arrives at Les Mimosas hoping for a stable job as a housekeeper. The property near Tours promises clear hours, a room, and a fresh start. Yet behind its polished rooms and connected devices, she finds rules that no contract explains.
Messages replace conversations. Cameras watch the corridors. The people who own the house see only the work being done, while Mégane begins to notice what each person conceals. In her private journal, she records the secrets she uncovers, the assumptions she gets wrong, and the desires she can no longer ignore.
As her friendships deepen and the boundaries between work and private life shift, Mégane must decide what she is willing to reveal-and what freedom will cost her.
A Housekeeper's Private Journal is a contemporary novel about power, intimacy, and finding a voice of one's own.
