A Helper for Me

Meet Riley, a cheerful second grader who loves to help his friends. One day in class, he sees his friend Toni crying. Like Riley, Toni has had some hard times. Luckily, Riley knows just what to tell her.

Every child deserves to feel seen, especially when the world feels heavy.

A Helper For Me is more than just a story-it is a gentle companion for children navigating big feelings and difficult seasons. Written by an art therapist and youth development expert, this book serves as a reassuring reminder that no child has to carry their burdens alone.

Through relatable storytelling and a dedicated reflection section, this book invites young readers to:

• Identify and express complex emotions in a safe way.
• Discover the helpers in their own lives.
• Engage in meaningful conversations with parents, teachers, or counselors.

Whether you are looking for a bedtime story to provide comfort or a therapeutic tool for the classroom, A Helper For Me provides the language children need to find peace and support.
