HER SPIRIT WILL BE RELENTLESSLY TESTED In this rich historical novel set in mid-nineteenth century England, we are introduced to Chovinne, a young gypsy girl. Chovinne is just beginning to grasp the trials and tribulations of life when she is suddenly thrust into a role she never imagined, that of being responsible for the well being of her entire gypsy clan. How will she cope with the challenges confronting her? Will she be able to purchase the necessary land and procure the necessary supplies for all of them? Is it possible to assist the members of her clan to find employment to make a decent living? Will she ever be able to stop the unnecessary wrath directed at them from others? Traveling through nineteenth century England and America, the reader will witness the difficulty of life during these times. Especially difficult is the life of a gypsy. Will Chovinne be able to summon the resources necessary to overcome persecution as a woman, and even more trying, as a gypsy? Witness the invisible scars of inhumanity and malice inflicted upon Chovinne and her family and how they react in A Gypsy's Life Struggles.
