This publication has been designed to reach back into the subconscious mind to restore the value of love for all humanity. How very easy has it been to push on to the back burner the love that causes pain and loss. Each piece of material included in this selection carries aphorisms giving a general truth about life. Four of the major conflicts of writing are used man v. man; man v. God; man v. society, and man v. inner-self. The theme of these works is love for humanity and pain for injustice.
I have chosen people from all walks of live because it has taken all types of people and experiences to give this country such a rich history. When I started out on this venture, I had a closed mind to the Civil Rights Movement. As I looked back the realization of the Civil Rights Movement embraced all types of efforts and stumbling blocks, regardless of race creed or color. As I hearkened to the voice within, I began to drink from knowledge that could only come from the intoxication of wisdom, for knowledge without wisdom is nothing.
When reading this book, try to stay in touch with the fact or opinion - that the conscience is a judge allowing knowledge to go into combat with ignorance beating down cruelty with love. The lives of these people have been seeds sown in the fields of success against much adversity and thorns in their flesh.
