John Rogers never knew his dad, and sadly saw precious little of his mum, shunted from home to home and institution, coming under the scrutiny of countless 'experts' in the process. It was no surprise that a life of crime beckoned, becoming an expert safe blower and working for the notorious Kray twins. Later turning his life around, he joined the British Army and Merchant Navy and later founded a business that became highly successful. Sadly, John died in 2013, although his inspirational life story is one that proves you should never give up.
