When I look back on this now it seems we lived in a state of seclusion and paranoia. But perhaps it was called for, or that is just what brought them comfort. My father and mother pulled all the strings of our life until we were well past the age of reason and understanding. We were all being groomed, or maybe I should say programmed, for our future positions. ..
