Art historian and gallery employee, Kyle Smith, is given the proposition to pick up and ship a controversial dual piece of art known as A Black Telltale Blue. A work done by a famous Dutch painter named Gottfried Van Blair in 1894. Van Blair was also notorious for being an alchemist/occultist. A Black Telltale Blue was crafted about a year after Van Blair visited the site where Babylon once stood. Kyle is offered a handsome sum of money to bring the work from Chicago back to the art gallery he works for in San Francisco. When Kyle begins his quest to pick up the painting and cabinet that is said to hold a spirit inside. A lot of strange and even frightening things begin to occur on the road. He seems to constantly be in the company of the unknown as many would put it. Enough to where he finds himself drifting between realms of the present day and ancient Babylon. Meanwhile, there are two gangs of vandals that seek to procure the legendary artwork for themselves. Along with the spirits that visit Kyle between different realms of time. Can Kyle live up to delivering the work that is said to be so cursed? A historic yet infamous masterpiece known only as A Black Telltale Blue.
