Chloe blinks the tears away and starts investigating the contents of his phone, finding he's been dating online for the past year and a woman named Luna is his favorite six month flavor. As she reads further, Chloe discovers the audacity of her husband and how he'd set up an interview with Luna for a live-in housekeeper position with him and his unsuspecting wife. Chloe becomes enraged as the pieces fall together within her mind - consumed with rage by his infidelity Chloe confronts Nick with her newfound knowledge when he returns for dinner; she cannot control her furious anger at his blatant denial; Chloe lashes out at Nick with Luna's name on her tongue.
Suddenly her rage overtakes her. Grasping a knife from the block, Chloe violently attacks the man she has loved for years, leaving him lying on the kitchen floor, gasping in a pool of his blood. Chloe turns to rinse the blood from the knife watching as the water washes down the drain; she tosses the knife into the sink, hearing the clank against the ceramic Chloe turns and steps over Nick's body already plotting for her new garden spot.
