This story is dedicated to Mark Robinson for his determination as a young boy growing up in the 1980's to never stop giving up on his dreams despite all the setbacks to finally meet his idols after owning the famous radio station numberplates FM1019. As a young boy growing up in the 1980's on the Mornington Peninsula he lived with his parents and other siblings in a small house in Tootgarook. His Mum and Dad worked very hard to feed the family and bring home the bare essentials each week leaving very little cash left over to spend on the kids. Times were tough and l learned pretty quickly that if l wanted some money l would have to work hard to earn it any way l could. That's how l got my nick name Excuse me for my politeness asking my neighbours for there leftover bottles so l could make 20 cents per bottle. I would even go along with my mum to the bingo hall and ask the ladies for their leftover bottles at the end of the session.
