A Second Helping is my second collection of comical poems being published by Amazon. It employs a rhythmical, rhyming style of writing in which the poems read like songs. A wide array of subjects are covered, including a large selection of children's stories, Aesop's fables, and nursery rhymes, presented as humorous parodies. Some thoughtful, serious pieces are also included in the book for the reader's contemplation. It is a book of many charms, full of surprises and captivating from beginning to end. A Second Helping is a highly entertaining volume, comprised of poems that you will want to read again and again!
