The 267th Indian Tank Brigade was a brigade of the Indian Army during World War II formed in July 1942, from units of the British Army, that had been converted to an armoured role from infantry battalions. the Brigade was intended for service in the Burma Campaign during World War II, but was disbanded in April 1943. When the brigade was disbanded its units reverted to an infantry role. The Indian Army during World War II began the war, in 1939, numbering just under 200,000 men.
