25 Friends Forever heaped on added challenges for me as I hosted a poetry event on Saturday, which was a spectacular book launch for a friend's new poetry book. By the time I arrived home, I was 5 hours behind. Strict marathon rules are no writing in advance, but not a problem to catch up. I caught up around 4am. I stayed awake without chocolate or coffee, wrote the 24th poem, showered, went to church, came home with just minutes to pack up and host an outdoor poetry event for the afternoon.
