Les Misérables has a new mugshot. This is 24601.
Joe Valentine has done his time-seventeen years for a crime that never stopped haunting him. He walks out of prison with a record, a scar, and nothing left to lose. What he finds instead is a broken city, a priest who refuses to give up on him, and a second chance he never asked for.
But redemption doesn't come easy. Especially not when your past has teeth, and your city needs a hero more than it needs a saint.
In the shadows of New Underwood, Joe leads the 24601-a group of ex-cons, misfits, and survivors delivering justice when the system won't. When Detective Jack Everett starts sniffing around, Joe expects trouble. What he doesn't expect is the spark. Or the storm it'll ignite.
24601 is a raw, electric reimagining of Les Misérables-a story of found family, obsession, and the thin line between penance and purpose. In a city where the law is bought and justice is personal, this isn't about forgiveness.
It's about who you become when the world tells you you're already lost.
