Die Aufsätze decken ein breites Spektrum der Forschung ab und dokumentieren in Fallstudien mit transnationaler und interdisziplinärer Ausrichtung die vielfältigen Formen des Neo-Futurismus in verschiedenen Teilen der Welt. Sie gehen der Frage nach, wie die intellektuelle und künstlerische Perspektive des historischen Futurismus mehr oder weniger bewusst, originalgetreu und originell aufgegriffen und weiterentwickelt wurde, und setzen sich dabei mit den kulturellen, sozialen und politischen Missverständnissen des ursprünglichen Futurismus auseinander.
