The Second Spring Arts Festival held an open call for authors in Northwestern North Carolina to submit essays, poetry and poems dealing with the positive benefits of aging. The first of these anthologies was published in May 2014 and launched at the festival, May 30, at the Milton Rhodes Center in Winston-Salem.
