The First Four Stories of the PIC has four short fictional stories of the adventures of some public school students living in Brockville, Ontario. The stories introduce Tommy, Dick, Mary (Brains) and Bobby and describe how they get together to form a detective club. Each story describes a mystery or problem that the four solve. The stories have a touch of humor but also tend to explain history, natural disasters, Canadian law and contact with extra-terrestrials. The vocabulary is suitable for public school children of age 10 to 12.
