My Facebook pages focus on Architecture and Home Decor, and I am not a professional with experience in these fields.
When I started, I had no experience with social networks at all. I created my first Facebook page on April 4, 2011, a few months after I had watched the movie The Social Network. These four popular pages by now were not my first Facebook pages and are not the only ones I manage. I have built this audience by sharing and resharing images from the public domain, much like a radio DJ keeps the audience attached to their radio station, playing new hits and gold hits.
In this book, I will share how I did it, how I observe, and how I select what I share. I will offer advice based on my 14 years of experience that may help you with your ideas. However, keep in mind the most important principle: the social media environment is constantly evolving.
If you are a beginner or just a curious reader, you will learn some interesting things, especially how to see this reality from a new perspective. I will share screenshots, post-reach insights, and earnings data. Additionally, to make this book as engaging as possible, I will incorporate numerous examples from movie scenes, YouTube channels, and book recommendations.
Finally, when you want to learn something and search on YouTube for a video tutorial, you might come across long tutorials with lengthy introductions as well as short videos that get straight to the point. On these short videos, you often see comments like, Thank you for making this short!
I aimed to make my book as concise as possible.
------------------------I started creating Facebook pages without making big plans. I started them out of curiosity.
I didn't tell many friends, and I haven't used the option to invite friends to like my pages.
I have not paid much attention to the rules; I just accepted them.
For me, it has always been like watching and observing what is going on. If a Facebook page succeeds, I try to understand why, and then I can follow its example. So, as I will explain, watching, observing, and noticing are some of the most helpful skills required in this kind of game, because for me, it has always been like some kind of game.At that time, I didn't even hear of the term influencer!
