Follow Professor Edward Randolph through his journey from Williamsburg (1753) to Boston (1764) and Philadelphia where he teaches in three colonial American colleges: William and Mary, Harvard, and the College of Philadelphia. In Philadelphia he reunites with his nephew, Thomas Jefferson. Learn about the issues that faced colonial Americans during the twenty-two years leading up to 1776. Independence from the British Crown and Parliament stoked the fires of freedom that taxation without representation, self-governance, and independence ignited.
