Responding to Chairman Mao's call, five members of Zhiqing (urban high school graduates) came to her village. She and other villagers did their best to help the Zhiqing. But these Zhiqing inflicted huge and lasting hurt and pains on her and the villagers. Filling with details and full of wisdom of an oriental culture, this fiction book not only contains knowledge about the daily life of the Chinese peasants during the Cultural Revolution but also gives you enjoyment of the bright songs and interesting local custom of a minority culture of China.
