Transmetropolitan, Vol. 4: The New Scum

The fourth Transmetropolitan collected edition finds Spider Jerusalem, outlaw journalist of the future, both craving and dreading the adulation of his readers -- or, as he calls them, the New Scum. From his luxury apartment, Spider covers the presidential race between candidates called the Smiler and the Beast, relentlessly pursuing the ugly truth in this violent, funny, and thought-provoking tale.
