What if the legendary Round Table wasn't King Arthur's idea at all?
King Arthur needs a table big enough for his twelve brave knights, so he calls on Kevin, Camelot's official royal table maker. But when Kevin suggests a better idea, the King insists on something else: first a square table, then a triangle table, and finally a rectangle table.
Kevin works tirelessly to build each one, but every new table creates another problem. Where should the King sit? Where should the knights sit? And why does everyone keep arguing about who gets the best seat?
With plenty of woodworking, royal demands and increasingly complicated seating arrangements, Kevin knows there is a better solution.
A playful and humorous twist on the legend of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, this story introduces young readers to the idea that sometimes the best solution is the simplest one - and that everyone gets along a little better when nobody has to sit at the head.
Perfect for young readers who enjoy funny stories, history-inspired adventures and imaginative twists on familiar legends.
