Join Leah Koenig in celebrating her latest cookbook, Portico: Cooking and Feasting in Rome’s Jewish Kitchen, a Food & Wine magazine Best New Cookbook. Leah will be joined by our own Patti Soskin, owner of yum! Kitchen and Bakery, for a conversation about the Eternal City’s historic Jewish community and its uniquely delicious cuisine. The lively talk will introduce you to iconic Roman foods, and to lesser-known Jewish delicacies. Leah will highlight the chefs, makers, and home cooks keeping the legacy of these foods alive today.
