Join Beto O’Rourke for a candid talk about protecting our sacred right to vote and what it will take to save our democracy at this critical moment of truth.

As a former Texas congressman and founder of the voting rights and voter registration organization Powered By People, Beto is uniquely qualified to explain both the challenges and opportunities that lay ahead as we approach the most consequential elections of our time.

Registration for the event is free and includes discussion with Beto. There is an add-on option to pre-purchase a signed copy of his latest book, WE’VE GOT TO TRY: How the Fight for Voting Rights Makes Everything Else Possible, that will be available for pick-up at the event.

Extra books will also be available for sale at the event (while supplies last).

Q: Do I need to register?

A: Yes, please do. Use the registration button above. Registering ahead of time helps us with scheduling, book ordering, and other decisions that are made several weeks prior to the event. The more info we have ahead of time, the better.

If you are unable to sign up online, please call or visit the bookstore and register with a bookseller.

Walk-ins are welcome, but seating decisions are made based on registered attendance and seating priority is given to registered attendees first.

Q: Are in store events free?

A: Yes, Magers & Quinn events are free and open to the public unless otherwise noted. This event includes an option to pre-purchase a book during the registration process.

Q: Are masks required?

A: Masks are not required to browse in the store or at most events. Some events may come with a request for masking for the health and safety of the author. If so it will be noted here whenever possible.
