THE PEOPLE OF THE CREEK{Agonies of the Niger Delta's.} is a stage play that expresses the miseries, the troubles, and the torture encountered by the oil producing community in the Niger delta through the eyes of ten women. The play also hinted on the environmental issues, unjust execution of the Ogoni 9 activists, the wanton killings in the land during Abacha military junta and the many unfairness that occurred in the beginning of 1993.
