God design marriage for man to close the gap of aloneness, man need a helper one like him not an animal, but a human being who speak the same language with him, one that is close to his heart, God did not form a woman from earth as he did on Adam rather he use one rip bone of Adam to create woman or wife for him, woman is from man and man is from God, though in procreation woman conceive both man and woman, God created this two persons from the beginning to form the raise of human bean, in order to establish a kingdom on earth that will rule over the earth, humankind on earth is the expression of God's love. That was the case in Jesus' day as well. When Jesus gave a glimpse of the magnificent view of marriage that God willed for His people, the disciples said to Him, If such is the case of a man with his wife, it is better not to marry (Matthew 19:10). In other words, Christ's vision of the meaning of marriage was so enormously different from that of the disciples; they could not imagine it to be a good thing.
