CHOSEN is a story which highlights the journey of the main character, V. Marcia Blair and how her profound belief that God was in complete control, helped her overcome the challenges of her life. The story takes us from her homeland Jamaica to the City of New York where her struggles continued when she had to face betrayal, disillusionment and illness. She persevered while empowering herself by working full time and attending night school for her degree. Blair's total conviction was that she was CHOSEN for a great purpose and that these struggles were just hindrances and hurdles to be overcome. As this intriguing story climaxes, we see how her faithfulness pays off as God sends her the love of her life who, along with her children, church and family has been her support on this extraordinary journey of life. The Story Highlights That: The Latter Shall Be Greater! My name is V. Marcia Blair. I was born on the 17th of December, in Jamaica. I am the fifth child for my parents. I Surrendered my life to the Lord at five (5) years old and has grown in my faith. I have had many physical and verbal abuses in my life but my faith in God has helped me to know that with Him there is nothing that I cannot overcome. I immigrated to America and while there were many disappointments, challenges and struggles, I was confident that God was with me. In 1995 I married the love of my life whose love has been a tower of strength to me. The purpose of this book is to encourage others and help them see that with God all things are possible. God has chosen me and so I continue to make my life available to him.
