8vo, 194 pgs + plates. Quarter bound brown leather with tan paper boards, 5 raised bands, gilt title and detail on spine. Numerous fold-out plates depicting mythological figures, plates are delicate but intact and free of tears. Some chipping to leather at head of spine, leather a bit mottled, some rubbing to paper, paper chipped off of board cornertips, some dust soil to block edges. Interior, including plates, is remarkably clean but for previous owner's name in ink on title pg. This is a beautiful French language volume, in wonderful condition for an 18th century book.
