12mo, 322 pgs. "Illustrated Exposition Edition." Full bound brown cloth over flexible boards, gilt and black stamped title on front board. 12 black and white illustration plates, no map. Some dust soil to clothand block edges, very minimal wear to cloth at spine ends. Hinge beginning to crack right before introduction pg, but still holding. Interior clean throughout, plates nice and crisp. Some particulars: "Bizoin" at head of title pg, Lafcadio Hearn's name does not appear at foot of pg 299. Overall a nice solid book and comprehensive guide to late 19th century New Orleans.
