1888. 2nd edition. 8vo. 2 volume set, full bound brown cloth with gilt titles on spine. Interior clean throughout, binding is solid, many of the signatures still uncut. Cloth boards lightly dust soiled from age and shelfwear, some minor rubbing to cloth on corner tips and spine ends. Gilt on spine is lightly tarnished but fully legible. Spine on vol 1 lightly cocked. Light finger and pencil smudge on front free end paper vol 1. Otherwise a very good or better copy of this rare set.
