Limited Edition. Signed. 4to. Full bound in brown paper wraps. Bound with a tied string on spine. On the few pages, Meridel Le Sueur beautifully shares the feelings of a comtemplative pregnant woman. This is number 257 of a 500 copy LIMITED EDITION, SIGNED by Le Sueur. Interior is clean though mildly toned. Two closed tears run along the thin spine. Creasing and other signs of age are noticeable especially towards edges. This remains a rare, desirable copy. Book is accompanied by a 1988 Minnesota Monthly article about the author, entitled "The Insistent Voice: At 88 years old, writer Meridel Le Sueur has been discovered. Again."
