First Edition. 1881/1882. 12mo, Two Volumes in Slipcase. This is a beautiful set professionally rebound in brilliant blue morocco, gilt tooling and black leather title labels with gilt stamped titling and four raised bands on spines. The original cloth cover and spine is bound in to the rear of the books, preserving the illustrated aspects of the original bindings. The interior is clean with only a hint of toning and light finger soiling on a couple of pages, full of charming illustrations. Black leatherette slipcase has very light shelf wear on bottom panel, else fine. Truly stunning for any collection.Feel free to request photos.
