Naoto Fukasawa (b.1956) is one of the best-known Japanese product designers working today, achieving widespread recognition with his groundbreaking wall-mounted CD player, designed for MUJI in 1999. Fukasawa has since won acclaim for his innovative designs of familiar objects, which are based on his close observations of how we use things in our everyday lives.
